Donation Refund Policy

At Rainbow Education Seva Foundation, we deeply appreciate your generosity and support in helping us build an educated, empowered, and healthy India.

Because donations are considered voluntary charitable contributions, they are generally non-refundable. The funds we receive are immediately allocated to our active programs, including education, women's empowerment, and disaster relief.

However, we understand that technical errors or accidental transactions can happen. We have established this policy to ensure a fair and transparent process for handling such exceptions.

When We Issue Refunds

We will review and process refund requests strictly under the following conditions:

• Duplicate Transactions: You were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical glitch.
• Erroneous Amount: You accidentally entered an incorrect amount (e.g., typing ₹10,000 instead of ₹1,000).
• Technical Failure: Your payment was deducted from your account, but the transaction failed to register on our system and no receipt was generated.

How to Request a Refund

If you experience any of the issues above, you must request a refund within 7 days of the transaction date.

Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Donation Refund Request.

To help us process your request quickly, please include the following details in your email:

• Full Name of the donor
• Date of the donation
• Donation Amount
• Transaction ID or Reference Number
• Reason for the refund request

Important Conditions

• Tax Exemptions (80G): If we have already generated and issued an 80G tax exemption certificate for your donation, we cannot process a refund, as the tax benefit has already been recorded.
• Processing Time: Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 10 to 15 business days. The funds will be credited back to the original payment method (credit card, bank account, or UPI) used during the transaction.
• Discretion: Rainbow Education Seva Foundation reserves the right to decline a refund request if the claim is found to be invalid or outside the 7-day window.
